San Diego Jewish Academy

SAN DIEGO, CA

My name is Rick Saxe and I'm a Senior at the San Diego Jewish

Academy. It's a small school, but we have a very active student body.

My favorite sport is actually baseball, but I love all sports and

think that sports are the foundation of a healthy community.

Because our school is small, it's tough to raise a ton of money,

but my club's goal is more to spread the word about FUNDaFIELD and

maybe get some other schools to create their own clubs.

NOVEMBER 2011

We have just been approved for our second straight

year as a club at SDJA, and couldn't be any more excited to get back

to work. Our club will join the Your Lucky Poop sales that FUNDaFIELD

is holding, and we hope to sell as many squares as we can! This year

should be a great success, as we plan to build on our success from

last year.

OCTOBER 2011

We have yet to have a club fair at school--believe it or
not---but once our club is authorized, we plan on having a meeting
every other week and selling breadsticks every Wednesday at lunch.
More information to come.
