Give a ball and help Swaziland’s Orphans

NEWSLETTER ARCHIVE

In July 2012, FUNDaFIELD team members

will be part of “Steps over Swaziland” (SOS) a campaign to bring awareness and support to the people of Swaziland. As part of the campaign, FUNDaFIELD has partnered with the One World Futbol Project to deliver the ultra-durable, all-terrain One World Futbol to orphanages, coaches and schools in Swaziland.

The FUNDaFIELD team will dribble One World Futbol soccer balls 122 miles across Swaziland and distribute the balls along the way. FUNDaFIELD will also build a soccer field at El Shaddai orphanage.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Through the One World Futbol Project’s “Give One Get One” model, you can get involved and help Swaziland’s youth by:

•Purchasing a One World Futbol for yourself ($39.50 + shipping) and a second ball will be donated to FUNDaFIELD’s Swaziland project

•Donating the ball you purchase to the cause by selecting the “Give Both” option during the check-out process

For each of the first 150 One World Futbols purchased for the Swaziland project, the One World Futbol Project will donate two balls instead of one to FUNDaFIELD’s efforts. Help us realize our goal of delivering 1,000 One World Futbols to Swaziland’s kids. Get involved.

•I want to know more about the FUNDaFIELD “Dribble Across Swaziland”

According to UNICEF, Swaziland has the dubious distinction of having the highest percentage of HIV-positive people in the world. More than 100,000 orphans are affected by HIV/AIDS in Swaziland.
