Maddy Jaber and I started the club at DVHS because we wanted to expand FUNDaFIELD and opening a club seemed to be a great idea. Soccer is a major part of our lives. It has helped us make new friends, learn how to work as a team and is a great hobby. We realize that kids in Africa don’t have the same access to the facilities we have and we want to do all we can to help make a difference in their lives. At Dougherty Valley, there are three soccer teams for both the men's soccer and women's soccer programs. many kids at our school have the same passion for soccer as kids in Africa, so they understand the desire to play no matter what conditions they are in. I have been a part of FUNDaFIELD for two years now and i realize how much of an impact it has on the kids' lives. We love to see FUNDaFIELD grow and are excited that we can be a part of making the difference.
