Kyle and I traveled to Uganda and Kenya in July. The experience was the most amazing of my life. I wish I could share with you every moment but I can’t so I hope these pictures will give you an idea of our experience!
FUNDaFIELD was thrilled to bring over 300 tshirts for the tournament teams and everyone helping with the tournament. Thank you for your donations and support that made it possible!
The teams that played in the Uganda World Games all had a team flag. Buses transported players from Namuwongo to the field for the Saturday competition. The final games were played on an existing field in Namuwongo so that the whole community could come and watch the games.
It got more and more exciting as the final games approached. People from the community kept arriving and were so grateful to FUNDaFIELD and especially Matt Kennedy and Margaret Chang (pictured left, to the right of the goat) for all their work to make such an incredible weekend a reality.
A goat is the traditional prize the winning team receives and the Uganda World Games was no exception!
