World Cup Village Cup - South Africa
FUNDaFIELD held the 2010 Village Cup in South Africa on June 26 and 27th. The tournament invited 300 boys and girls teams to enjoy some friendly competition and compete to be the first place team! FUNDaFIELD team members traveled to host the tournament at Manyangana High School. And, it would not have been possible with out all of the Think Impact interns and their support!

When we started FUNDaFIELD we contacted Saul Garlick who was looking to bring sports to the area, part of his teachings on HIV/AIDS. Saul has been an unbelievable supporter and mentor, always there to give FUNDaFIELD valuable advice and share his knowledge and huge network of resources.
Steven Fear, Eurosport Passback Director is our hero. In an amazingly short amount of time, Mr. Fear had packaged and shipped to the village, 240 Uniforms for the players, 10 referee jerseys and flags, 15 goal keeper jerseys, 101 pairs of cleats/shidguards and even more. Thank you from the kids and from FUNDaFIELD.

Before we can pass our uniforms in South Africa, we had to sort the uniforms that Eurosport Passback donated. Sixteen boys teams and four girls teams are FINALLY boxed and ready to go!
Each player received a jersey and a tournament tshirt.
